Thank you  to all the BeTrenders out there who have enjoyed reading our daily updates and posts. For the next little while, we will be taking a break, but we hope to be back better than ever in the not so distant future. A very special gracias goes out to our amazing staff and BTM Interns who have dedicated countless hours to BeTrendMe, and we want them to know that we appreciate them so much, and that we will never be able to thank them enough for their hard work.

Wedge Sneakers are the perfect thing to wear on your feet this fall, as they give you the height a pair of heels would yet you get the comfort of a pair of sneakers! Several fashionista celebrities have been photographed in these kicks from Hilary Duff to Miranda Kerr to Beyoncé. A pair of black wedges go great with a pair of dark wash skinnies and an oversized black sweater, the look says casual and comfortable on a colder day. A pair of pink wedge sneakers or a pair of blue high-tops are an easy way to add a pop of color to the darker colors in your fall wardrobe. A sport wedge in a lighter color breaks away from everyone’s usual darker shoe fall picks and will make your feet stand out in the crowd. Or if you do not prefer the high-top look you can always throw on a pair of canvas platforms which will still give you the same comfortable height. Definitely a trend you should try out this fall BeTrenders!

Our BTMinterns are obsessed with nails and this new trend is no exception. Denim Nails, like denim shirts, are massive this fall/winter and can be seen all over, but especially on Pinterest and Tumblr. Styles can vary from denim with intricate pocket designs and stitching, or can be a plain denim hue with some acid wash detailing. We’ve found a few options for our BeTrenders to try at home. Maybelline has created a denim collection line this year and there are some hues that are not only beautiful, they can be a great base for added touches. Here is another hue from Picture Polish and from Zoya that are also stunning.

Should you want to try the acid-wash look, after applying your base blue add a single layer of white polish on top, like this one from Essie. Quickly, starting from the cuticle and moving upwards to the end of your nail, take a sponge with remover on it and wipe off some of that white. Making your makeup last is a really important thing to us beauty obsessed females. BeTrendMe is going to help you BeTrenders learn how to avoid a makeup meltdown! Start with a clean face, always always always remember to moisturize BeTrenders! This is the MOST important step of any skincare routine! After the cleansing process, be sure to prime your face. Use a mattifying primer. They come in a variety of different formulas and different colors even to correct skin tone, and fix redness. The next step is to use a concealer to cover up dark circles. You can use a concealer brush or your ring finger for application. Next is foundation! The longest lasting foundation is going to be a liquid foundation. If you have oily skin though, your best option would be a powder foundation. To keep the liquid formula lasting even longer, use a foundation brush. A new trend that is making huge waves this fall are these awesome sites where you can get a customizable iPhone case. It’s always a challenge to find a way to personalize your phone, but now with the help of sites like this you can show off a unique cover that’s is custom made for you. Maybe you would like a photo of your favorite album, or perhaps a picture of your much-loved pet? You can do that now and you don’t have to pay an arm and a leg to get one of these super cute cases. With the holidays around the corner, these are also perfect gifts to give to someone who has everything!

BeTrendMe has loved everything that 2012 has brought! All the different trends have piqued our interest and we’re going to show you our favorite hair trends from 2012! Ombre has been around in a big way this year! From the natural ombre, to the more defined ombre, to ombre that fun and funky with pastel ends. The ombre trend is one that BTM just can’t get over and we just love it so much! Perfect and sleek ponies are perfect for an event of any kind. They are easy achieve and look great on everyone! Ballerina or sock buns are huge right now! They are super chic and you can make them big or small and they can be worn with a casual outfit, or you can dress them up. They are a great way as well to hide the second day unwashed hair. Volume is also something that is huge right now, pun intended. For people with finer hair, this trend can be a little bit difficult to achieve, but when it is done right, it looks so old school glam! The volume trend is one that BTM thinks is best reserved for a night out. Hair ornaments are a great trend because it is like jewelry for you hair, and really, who doesn’t love jewelry? Blue

This shade looks fantastic in any style! From pants to bags this color is going to make a statement this season! Blue is a bold neutral color so you can pair almost anything with it! A patterned blouse with blue pants will create a fun twist to your look. Try color blocking with bright top in yellow or red with a blue skirt. To reverse this colour and try it on top keep your bottoms simple with something like dark denim. Also check out this blue peacoat that will make you stand out while roaming the wintery streets! BeTrenders, if you’ve been following this season closely you will have noticed that there are some recurring themes. Oversized items, military-esque jackets, pastels and fur. Although she may not be doing her big giveaway on TV anymore, but Oprah still makes her annual list of “Favorite Things” and this year’s list can be found in the pages of the December Issue of “O” Magazine. From elliptical machines, to bike helmets, studded high-top sneakers to cable-knit sweaters, Oprah provides her readers with an array of items that she is loving this year. Hey BeTrenders! It’s been talked about since early this year, but finally the Swedish store H&M has announced they’ve created a collection of women’s accessories available next spring in Europe and the UK. The line, titled “& Other Stories” (the collection is said to be inspired by fashion stories) will include shoes, jewellery, bags, beauty products, lingerie and more,  making your trip to the store a place where you can complete the look you were going for. The company has been keeping the collection very hush-hush, but our BTMinterns did some amazing digging and have found some images for you guys to check out.
