Designer Paint Chip Wall
I have long been an ardent fan of Martha Stewart and was very pleasantly surprised by her newly launched Paint line in conjunction with The Home Depot. The quality of paint, the colors available and even their creative intermixing of colors is brilliant, so whilst standing pondering the colors in the paint section at Home Depot, I realized the gorgeous lift the entire palette had when placed together. Then I came up with this idea just for my BE TREND ME readers.
Cover an ENTIRE wall with the Martha Stewart paint chips, it will be evenly spaced with a 1/2 inch separation held in place with 2 clear push pins (one on the top and one on the bottom of each chip). The trick being is to keep your lines straight both “Up – Down” and “Side to Side”. This wall took 300 paint chips (gathered over several visits to The Home Depot) and about 2 hours of time. Don’t rush it, simply put your Ipod on and go into a Designer Trance. It is PERFECT as a feature wall in your apartment or bedroom or even a very cool idea for a headboard to go all the way to the ceiling. Send us photos of your work after your done.
