JoJo and AT&T’s “It Can Wait” Campaign
Now a days, with everyone’s hands glued to their cellphones (and we’re sure that some of you BeTrenders are guilty as we are too), it’s hard to take our eyes off the screen sometimes. However, driving is one of those times when we need to have our complete focus (and eyes) on the road ahead. Singer and songwriter JoJo, who became a star after her hit “Leave (Get Out)” debuted on the radio in 2004, has teamed up with popular cell phone provider AT&T and their campaign “It Can Wait” – a campaign against texting behind the wheel. JoJo believes that texting and driving is a big problem in our generation and that it is something that drivers of all ages need to be aware of. AT&T stated in a press release “Distracted driving is an epidemic, particularly among teens who are confident in their ability to text or talk while driving”. BTM want’s all BeTrenders to be safe while they’re driving – put your BlackBerrys and iPhones down while you’re behind the wheel and make sure you’re safe on the roads!
