Who doesn’t love a two-tone nail?! The hottest nail trend, just became the easiest DYI, grab a pen and paper as BeTrendMe breaks down the saran wrap nail effect!

First, pick out two complimentary colors, we went for a softer look with Essie’s foot loose as a base color and off the shoulder for the marble effect, but don’t be afraid to be adventurous, try bold colors, or even use a neutral, (black, grey or white) to get a punch from any color!

Before you start painting, get your saran wrap ready so you won’t chance ruining your nails! Get a little piece out for each nail and line them up so they are easy to handle and ready to go!

Next, paint on your base color and let it dry! (Read some new BTM posts, or explore our twitter while you wait!)

Once you are sure your nails are dry, grab your second color and paint right over your nails, while it is still wet take a piece of saran wrap per nail and dab gently until you achieve your desired look!

Let them dry and finish with a top coat to get a lasting shiny look!
