BTM Health Kick: Post-Workout Stretches

According to teen vogue stretching is a must to keep your muscles from tensing and losing alignment and mobility, which can highly interfere with future injury. There are two types of stretching, dynamic, like lunges and knee hugs for before the workout to warm up your body and of course static stretches for post workout to lengthen and release tension in your muscles. To assist in your stretching try using a tool like a strap to further your stretch and push yourself to hold it longer, or grab a foam roller to massage your muscles during a static stretch phase. BTM wants you to stay in motion and take care of yourself all summer so keep stretching!
