What do you get when you mix british rock and roll with a conservative Seattle based department store? Give up? Topshop is coming to Nordstrom. That’s right BeTrendMe readers Topshop and Topman are coming to fourteen Nordstrom locations across the United States. Each location will get 2500 square feet of retail space for women (we don’t mind, right ladies?) and 1500 square feet for Topman. With the success of Topshop’s three locations across the U.S. and being sold at The Bay in Canada, this step into Nordstrom’s only made sense. It was said that Nordstrom wanted to ad some freshness to their department store which they were lacking, so a great brand like Topshop may just help. It will help bring in a whole new customer. This will be a customer who loves the runway and street fashion trends at an affordable price. Granted that what is available at the Nordstrom location will be smaller than what is available at a regular Topshop location, it will be a great introduction across the country. Nordstrom is a store that sells a lot of basics but who wants just a basic anymore? With Topshop being introduced this fall BTM can guarantee that there will be a whole lot of fashion coming to Nordstrom.
