Okay, we know this week we have been getting a little eager for events and products releasing in December. We still love the summer and will always be sad for its departure, but we also love looking forward to things down the road. This summer we got a great view of Anne Hathaway as the newest “Catwoman” in the last instalment. BTM hasn’t gotten enough of her yet, which is why its so great knowing she’ll be in the winter flick “Les Miserables”.

Just like many hit Broadway musicals, Hollywood has taken the ever popular “Les Miserables” under its wing to produce a film version. The 1985 musical is based on the 1862 French novel by Victor Hugo. Set in early 19th century France the plot follows the stories of many characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution. Aiming to re-do this outstanding musical perfectly, this revision sticks close to the narrative but stands out by using some of Hollywood’s biggest stars such as Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Anne Hathaway of course, and many more. Not only is this musical the third longest-running show in Broadway history, but is also the second longest-running musical in the entire world and BTM knows that film director Tom Hooper will do it justice. “Les Miserables” is scheduled to hit theatres this December, a perfect film to see just in time for the holidays.
