Hopeless romantics and movie lovers everywhere beware; after debuting at Sundance earlier this year “Liberal Arts” premieres in North America today! “How I Met Your Mother” star Josh Radnor (Ted Mosby) takes us on a journey through his second feature film as a Writer and Director. “Liberal Arts” introduces us to the uncomfortable topic of age inappropriate temptation as Jesse Fisher (Radnor), a 35 year old college admissions professor, gets caught in an awkward relationship with sophomore theater student Zibby (brilliantly played by Elizabeth Olsen). Jesse finds himself returning to his alma mater to honor a favorite past professor which is where he becomes entangled with Zibby. Throughout the movie their 16 year age difference takes them along a humorous, intelligent and heart warming path that is sure to keep us glued to the screen. When “Liberal Arts” was originally shown at the Sundance Film Festival this year it was a crowd favorite. With an exciting cast joining Radnor and Olsen are Zac Efron as Zibby’s free spirited friend, as well as acting veterans Allison Janney and Richard Jenkins.
