He was the host of “Survivor” for many years, and now Jeff Probst is taking on a new type of hosting gig, a Monday day-time talk show. The 50 year old, who hosted the hit reality show is now going to have his own take on day time TV. People are saying that he is an odd choice for this type of show, especially when you have the much respected and known Ricki Lake and other day time stars like Dr.Oz, Ellen and Rachel Ray. So is he nervous?? Not so much. After 12 years of hosting Survivor, where he had to deal with giving the bad news of being voted off the island, putting out their torches and dealing with the finale after-shows, Jeff feels ready and confident to take on relationship issues and everyday  news and gossip.
