Fall Hair Trends

The fall is the perfect time to debut the perfect hairdos and styles! You’re starting new grades and years at school, and you want to put your best tresses forward. Well BeTrenders, you’re in luck as we are brimming with excitement to share all our fave styles, and the best products to achieve them.

The Sleek Ponytail:

This look was all over the runways for Fall 2012 at Jason Wu and Marc Jacobs shows, as models were looking beautiful with their hair pulled back into a clean ponytail. You can do this look with wet or dry hair. First run some Bumble & Bumble grooming creme through your locks then pull all your hair back to the middle of your head and tie it with a hair elastic. We love this look because it is so easy to wear. Spice your sleek pony up with a berry colored lip, and you’ll be turning heads all over the place!

Natural Twists:

We love how effortless this hairstyle can be, and how many ways you can change it up. Start off with freshly washed hair, apply a heat protectant and blow dry your hair semi-straight until it is 90% dry. We love this Hot Tools dryer to get the job done. The rest is easy and where you can have some fun. Take some sections and start twisting them together. We like having them to the side of our face and just a little mess for the perfect no fuss look. This style is perfect when you have to get to school quick, but still want to look super cute.

Extreme Volume:

Derek Lam, Moschino and Dsquared models were all wearing this bouffant hair style on the catwalk. It might seem a bit over the top, but you can tone it down for work, school or just running errands. It’s best to work on second day hair (second day of not washing your tresses) because your natural oils will help to protect your hair from all the teasing you have to do, and it naturally holds the volume better than freshly shampooed hair. We suggest this teasing comb from Revlon. Just take sections from the middle of your hair and start backcombing beginning at the root, building up as much volume as you like until you reach the top of your head. When you’re done take the comb and lightly smooth the top layer and finish with a medium hold hairspray.

Golden accents:

This looks is totally classy and mature. We are loving how easy it is to add a little bit more to an outfit with this trend. The best way to get this look is to put your hair up in a messy bun or updo. The messy hair will contrast perfectly with the gold accessory. We love the grecian look of this gold leaf comb that adds a bit of grace to any hairstyle.
