BTM Bulletin: Chloe Moretz as “Carrie”
Fifteen year old Chloe Mortez has landed the lead role as Carrie in the remake of the 1976 horror movie “Carrie”. The new film will be based more on the book then remaking the original movie. Chloe said on her new role, “I’m becoming a totally different person for it. I’m letting go of all of my self-esteem issues and just kind of going into it.” “Carrie” was a novel written by horror genius Stephen King about a bullied girl with telekinetic powers. Julianna Moore landed the role as Carrie’s religous and strict mother. Chloe Mortez is not new to taking on challenging roles, from her roles in “Kick-Ass” to Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows”.
