Business mogul Mark Cuban launched AXS TV this past July as a means for viewers to watch live programming from the comfort of their own homes, yet still receiving the feeling of seeing an event in person. He believes watching something on Youtube after it’s already happened takes away the excitement of seeing it live and right in front of you. They have rebranded themselves, as well as on social media as the “premiere television destination to live LIVE with the best events in pop culture, biggest acts in music, and hottest breaking news and trends in entertainment.”

Though there is only content for several hours a week, the network hosts an AXS Live Show shot downtown Los Angeles which recaps on the worlds of entertainment, fashion, sports, music, and celebrities. AXS TV is available via AT&T, DIRECTV, Dish Network, Verixon FiOS, and other TV providers. As well as they have created a smartphone app. Metal fans rejoice as November 24 Lamb of God will air live from The Electric Factory at 10PM. The channel allows you to watch a live college football team, or your favorite band live (which is awesome if you’ve never been to their concert yet!).
