BTM Beauty: How To Avoid a Makeup Meltdown
Making your makeup last is a really important thing to us beauty obsessed females. BeTrendMe is going to help you BeTrenders learn how to avoid a makeup meltdown! Start with a clean face, always always always remember to moisturize BeTrenders! This is the MOST important step of any skincare routine! After the cleansing process, be sure to prime your face. Use a mattifying primer. They come in a variety of different formulas and different colors even to correct skin tone, and fix redness. The next step is to use a concealer to cover up dark circles. You can use a concealer brush or your ring finger for application. Next is foundation! The longest lasting foundation is going to be a liquid foundation. If you have oily skin though, your best option would be a powder foundation. To keep the liquid formula lasting even longer, use a foundation brush. After you’ve put your “face” on (including your blush or bronzer) you’re on to the eyes! Depending what you plan on wearing on your eyes, they need to primed as well. An eyeshadow primer is the perfect way to start the process. It helps keep your eyeshadow and eyeliner in place and smudge free (BTM swears by this stuff. You will never have missing eye shadow again!). For the lashes, to keep the curl lasting longer try this little trick. Grab your eyelash curler. Grab your hair dryer. (We know this sounds a little bit weird) Turn your hair dyer onto low and hold your curler a good distance away from the hair dryer. Heat up your curler for about 20 seconds, then curl away! The effects are similar to those of a curling iron for your hair. But, stop there before you go any further!!! You now get to set your makeup! There are two methods to this. You can use a setting spray, or a setting powder. After that, you’ve just gotta apply some waterproof mascara and you are good to go! For those of you who wear lipstick as well, don’t worry! We’ve got a tip for that as well! Moisturize your lips using your fave lip balm, this acts sort of as a primer. Next apply your favourite shade of lipstick, and blot with some of the setting powder or just a regular powder, this sets the first layer of lipstick. Apply another coat of lipstick and top off with gloss if you want! BTM hopes that these tips will help keep your makeup in place all day!

I tried the eyelash curler trick and it worked wonders. Though i couldn’t find any setting spray or setting powder at the store I did online and that also worked amazingly. I’m surprised I’ve never heard of most of these tricks before. I recommend all of them for anyone.
