Three months after Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher announced their separation, we at BeTrendme are certain things are on the up for favorite funny-guy Ashton. We do however miss seeing Demi and Ashton hand-in-hand, a reminder that love can have no prejudices against age or experience. Endless pictures of the pair in tabloids and magazines, reinforced their happy-go-lucky marriage, which is why it was such a huge shock to BTM and keen celeb-followers when they decided to end their relationship after 6 years of marriage. We are certain that both parties have many projects to keep them occupied – Ashton’s new role in “Three and a Half Men” should keep him busy for the foreseeable future. In the meantime, BTM would like to wish Ashton love, happiness and a great birthday!

With the numerous award shows lined up, dresses for celebs are in high demand. Last week, top models strutted down the runways for various couture fashion houses in Paris, showcasing the best of the best! Designer Alexis Mabille experimented with the ‘science of color’, each dress had a different color and each model had a matching floral headpiece and face paint. The green gown from Giorgio Armani’s story of metamorphosis is a fairy tale waiting to be told on the red carpet! Playing around with various shades of blue, Karl Lagerfeld has put Chanel at the top of the list once again. If you watched “The Voice” during season 1 you know what you can expect from Christina, Blake, Cee-Lo and Adam!  You can expect nothing less from them in season two, as the judges are back with experience and the drive to find the next winner of “The Voice”.  For those BeTrenders who haven’t seen the show before, listen up!  It is a reality singing competition, where contestants are given a blind audition.  If one of the four judges like what they hear, they will turn their chair around in hopes of adding that contestant to their team.  The judges handpick their teams, and they battle with different songs each week. Under the sea fashion isn’t just for “The Little Mermaid’s” Ariel anymore! Her ability to look glamorous and playful in a Christian Dior couture dress worn at the 2011 BRIT Awards gets BTM asking if this is indeed the same pop princess wearing a heavy metal inspired leather pant and jacket ensemble. RiRi rocks out by layering a black leather cropped biker jacket over a simple scoop-neck long sleeved T. Get the look with this studded leather jacket on top of an understated black long sleeved top. These faux-leather skinny pants have just enough zip detail to keep your look rocktastic. RiRi adds feminine accessories to ensure her style doesn’t get too tough. You could try adding this sweet golden heart pendant and jelly bow heels to soften up your statement look. BeTrendMe can’t wait to read Selena Gomez’s article in InStyle UK! Selena shows off a more mature side as she graces the cover of the February issue. She talks to InStyle about fashion, her career, and entrepreneurship and says that her style ‘has always been classic and very simple’ but ‘it’s evolved’. Selena took her love for fashion and launched her clothing line, Dream Out Loud in 2010. Her line, which is sold exclusively at Kmart, was a hit with young girls and continues to be a growing success. Since starring in the popular “Wizards of Waverly Place”, Selena has continued to grab Hollywood’s attention. She formed her band, Selena Gomez & the Scene, in 2009 and still sings with them today. Following the palm-tree printed success of  the H & M collaboration with Versace, Marni has paired up with the fashionably affordable chain, to bring you African inspired prints, clashing colors and statement jewellery. Head designer Consuelo Castiglioni’s first high-street collection focuses on the juxtaposition of print and color.  Bold art-deco shapes sit beside line drawings. Flowing organic shaped trees are drawn using a thick, black line. Pastel greens lay comfortably beside deep reds.  It is this whimsical quality which makes this collaboration both enchanting and yet totally wearable.
